Uncertain Edges.

Installed in Electro Studios Uncertain Edges takes the gallery’s location, sitting on the East Sussex shore, as its starting point to examine the blurred and wobbly lines that attempt to demarcate one space from another. A coastline whose cliffs crumble and diminish on the one hand whilst mudflats are reclaimed and extend with accumulations of silt, on the other. Artworks, writings and readings resonate viscerally with each other utilising earth, found objects, photography, words, movement, and paint to navigate shifting concepts of space, place and identity.

Uncertain Edges is the latest endeavour from Ground Collective. Ground Collective is made up of eight artists and a writer. For this project Jim Roseveare, local artist and arboriculturist, is our invited collaborator.
